GreenFedBirds was inspired by a simple idea: that small, intentional actions—like feeding birds—can create meaningful change. Feeding birds and building bird habitat is not just healthy for birds - it is an entry point for all of us to get a little more connected and nature-focused, creating a space for calm, appreciation and awe at the wonders around us right in our own backyards.
But creating that kind of backyard experience can take time, knowledge, and ongoing effort. Feeders need cleaning. Seed runs out. Birds need fresh, appropriate food and healthy conditions.
That’s where GreenFedBirds can lend a hand—whether you’re a lifelong backyard bird enthusiast or simply looking to reconnect with nature again.
I wanted to bring these simple joys to others while making it easy for families to enjoy a thriving bird habitat without the hassle—and in the process help reconnect people and neighborhoods with nature.
So GreenFedBirds was hatched. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, GreenFedBirds provides thoughtfully maintained bird feeding services designed to bring your backyard to life.
Our vision extends beyond individual backyards. One feeder can spark curiosity but a handful of feeders can create a neighborhood habitat. And over time, connected communities can help support healthier local bird populations while helping people feel more connected to the natural world around them.
As a founder, my hope is that we can be more than just a business service provider and that we can create meaning, opportunity, and positive local impact.
